Client: Rusty Surfing Co.

The Target Audience are surfers that are 16-30. They own a car enjoy surfing and live the life even though it may not be the life for every one, but that's why they surf. Their education will vary from still in high school to post graduate degrees. But they all find time to pursue their passion of surfing and know when to put life on hold so that they can find a piece of mind for a few hours at a time. Most will have at least one tattoo, two surf boards, and about three pairs of flip flops or sandals. They are also an extremely eco-friendly demographic.

Since Rusty offers a wide array of products that suit many different styles we intend to appeal to a wide audience. Currently their tag line is "All About Surfing." But really so are all their other competitors. The new Tag and Big Idea is "Become Legendary." Our aim is create an information hub for avid surfers to get conditions about their local beaches, or a beach they may be traveling to. They will also be exposed to the Rusty Surf Team, and new Rusty products.

We are going to be advertising on web sites of surfing and extreme sports on-line magazines. There are a series of banner ads that the viewer will be able to click on which will bring them to Rusty's blog site, Wavelegends.com. There the surfers will be able to sign up for mobile surf reports. They will also be able to create their own blog as well as read other local surfer's blogs to fid out more information. Since there are already site that exist with web cams, weather conditions, and tidal times it is important to provide something more, which is the aim of the blog. We are going to bring the lore of surfing beyond any other surfing site.

We are also going to send out members of the surf team with the Legends Truck. The Truck will be equipped Demo Surf Boards, Rusty surfing apparel, promotional give aways, as well as co-branded products such as energy bars, beverages, and suntan lotion. Surfers will also be able to sign up for their mobile alerts at the truck. They will receive a custom text message when conditions are sweet.
