I’m at a point my life where I really need to lead with some guidance. Being human is awesome and understanding cultures and the brands that live within them is the essence of the work that I do on a daily basis. Constantly improving and pushing myself to excel is a difficult task. I’ve been working independently since 2003. A few years back I realized I was off-track and I chose to pursue my M.F.A. and round off an education and build an experience that will lead to a happy, balanced life.
I am an art director. I’m committed to creating ideas that cross all platforms and integrate into a culture. Creating Ideas the pull and inspire go much further than those that disrupt and congest. Researching to understand the brand, the industry, and the people that use them are always the first step to generating content that really works. These aren’t hard concepts to grasp, but they aren’t always easy to execute. These are tasks that I welcome.
My personality is hands-on. Getting a little dirty and taking a risk and failing has been my greatest asset. I always learn from my mistakes and found something positive out of every situation. I’ve taught myself things like Action Scripting and constantly learn anything I possibly can so that some day I can teach and guide those who are willing to learn. I need to work in a team again, and do the best work of my life because right now I am trying to live up to my potential and no one can do that alone.
I’m ready for the next challenge.
